September Favorites!

It's a little late for my September favorites- I wasn't sure if I was actually going to do one and then I decided tonight I would try to put something together. I'm not going to film a video, because I don't really see the point (unless someone wants to see it). I am, however, going out of town to St. Louis on Sunday so I'm thinking I might record a "What's in my travel bag" video. Still trying to get into the whole recording thing. But anywho- without further ado, here are my September favorites!

Makeup:
-Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light to Medium Bisque- How could I live my life without a corrector?! My dark eye circles are pretty bad but I didn't think a corrector would make much of a difference... I was totally wrong!
-MAC Studio Sculpt concealer- Great coverage, not much else to say. Very thick though, only down side.
-Maybelline lipstick in Born With It- Seriously? The best "your lips but better" color I've found. Looks so natural with just a hint of rosieness and sheen. Check it out, great price too! :]
-MAC lipstick in Snob
-Maybelline the Falsies Mascara- I love long thick lashes and luckily I have them naturally so a lot mascaras don't stand out to me- this one does! Very dramatic but not as much as Voluminous Millions by L'Oreal, I can wear it everyday without looking too overdone.
-NARS Deepthroat Blush
-NARS Giza lipgloss
-NARS copacabana illuminator- Just... changes your entire look more than you would ever expect. Gorgeous, absolutely brilliant.
Skincare:
-Philosophy Keep the Peace serum- This product this month has been a skin saver. I've been trying new products (trying to find a new cleanser, etc) my skin is being very temperamental and is not reacting well to most things... this serum is the only thing keeping me from needing Benadryl after any new product I try. Totally saves my skin!
-Body Shop Vitamin E Mist-This and Eau Roma (I think?) from Lush have been great pickmeups throughout the day!
-Body Shop Vitamin E eye cream- Not sure what it's doing for my undereye circles, but it's incredibly soothing at night so I'm enjoying it simply for that!
-Bath and Body Works Twilight Woods (all products)- I've been using their shower gel, lotion, and body mist in this scent and it is absolutely beautiful. Perfect new scent to get ready for fall. I love it SO much. MMM rgheoikjds I just could smell it non stop, I definitely want to get the perfume. I'm hoping there's going to be some sort of special soon!
-Burts Bees Coconut foot cream- I haven't been using this everynight like I'd like to but I do feel it conditioning my feet and it smells superb! Coconut with a hint of peppermint oil for a bit of freshness. Lovely.
-Carmex Lip Balm- a given.
Other:
-LAVanilla Grapefruit Vanilla Rollerball- A gorgeous scent, I keep this in my bag at ALL times.
-Arrested Development- Okay, so it's my third or so time watching Arrested Development all over again but I just love it so much hahah I never get tired of this and I am SO damn excited for a new season to be coming. AHHHH. Who else is stoked???
-Soup- I've just really been loving soup haha, it's odd I know to have in here but I just realized how much I had been eating it this month. Soup is so underrated hah!

First video

So I filmed my first video! I've been really sick so I sound horrid and the lighting and everything is just bad. But hey! At least I did it! I have to start somewhere, right? Right. Anywho- I hope to get viewers/subs so I don't feel like a total fool filming for no one haha. I'm thinking the next videos I'll be filming are going to be my everyday makeup routine and some collective hauls (because I've gone a little crazy! Woopsies!). If anyone actually reads this blog please check out my first video! And enjoy, it should be good to laugh at anyway! Hah!

I was wondering through Target today and checked out the Nail polishes and saw a really gorgeous color by Nicole by O-P-I. And then I thought back to when I was drooling over the new Fall Collection from Chanel and realized it looked so much like Peridot! And I got it on sale for $3.58!! :D

Of course since I'm new this blogging world you all don't know I have a painful obsession with perfume, that I'm not even embarrassed to admit. I love it. I would get into why I love it all and everything but really... who cares? We all love it. Anyway! I found that Lubin, a french Perfume house, is reviving a floral scent created for her by Jean-Louis Fargeon (the royal nose if you will) inspired by her beloved gardens at Versailles. She had it with her even during her imprisonment and held the "midnight colored jade vial" until she slipped it to her most trusted friend, the Marquise de Tourzel (who's family still owns the vial to this day) shortly before her death. Black Jade (130.00 YIKES) is now available for anyone who wants a smell into the past at Aedes.

Might have to save up for this one!

Starting Something New

So I'm sitting here at work and decided I've got nothing better to do than start my beauty, etc. blog! Haha. So today as I got ready I decided I'd record a video of my everyday makeup routine (I asked Gracie from UglyFaceofBeauty what video I should start with and that's one of the ones she suggested), HOWEVER my apple is being a complete ass and won't let me record. Here I thought I finally had my first video done and when I hit stop there was NOTHINGGGGGG. Ugh. I've recently just moved so my camera is packed up somewhere... and I have no idea where. Not good.

Anywho- I thought I'd just write a little post about my most recent makeup purchases.

I went to the MAC store yesterday because I had 25 empty containers to turn in and I needed some empty palettes. I ended up with 3 empty palettes (I'll take pictures soon), 7 new shadows (Woodwinked, Twinks, Contrast, Naked Lunch, Beauty Marked, Black Tied, and Club), and then 3 free lipsticks (Snob, Hue, and Lady Danger) and one free gloss (Cultured). WHOOPS... oh yeah and then Mac Face and Body in C3. S.H.I.T.

When I was there the helpful lady told me of an event they are having in the next few weeks. MAC stores are having FAHREAL before and after makeovers. They had a contest thing online a few months ago and picked a few winners then they designed new products from their after looks. Anyway! They're going to have those collections in the stores and then you can pick one you're inspired by and they'll do a complete makeover (with hair stylists and all... WHAAA) and include before and after shots. I have an appointment for August 26th (?) so I'll make sure to post my looks and anything I get from the collections. Hopefully I'll find my camera so I can make a video of everything... but we'll see.

ANYWHO- I know this post is everywhere... but it's my first so you'll have to excuse me! I'll get better, promise :].
